Future International School offers an accredited certificate from the Canadian Ministry of Education, the certificate is also certified from the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the OSSD, which is recognized in all international universities.
Essential aspects of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD):
- 30 Credits:
All students are required to complete 30 credits to earn the OSSD, including 18 compulsory credits.
- Community Service:
In addition to the 30 credits, students must complete 40 hours of community service.
- Literacy Requirement:
Students must demonstrate they have the required literacy skills. This can eb demonstrated through the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT), held once a year.

The OSSD meets the entry requirements for all Ontario and Canadian Universities. It also meets entry requirements in other countries such as USA, UK, Australia / New Zealand, the Middle East, Caribbean, etc.
